At Beginnings in Music: Beginnings Piano & Kindermusik with Karen, I do everything. My studio, Beginnings in Music, is both the oldest and the largest private piano studio in this city. The majority of new students come from recommendations - so I am doing something right! I began teaching music in high school. I am closely involved with the State and national music teachers organizations and a past district IV coordinator for EMTA and a vice president of our local chapter. I have been teaching all levels of the Kindermusik program since 1999.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to combine all of my loves - of teaching, of music, and now of also working with young children.
